The first time we traveled, I brought our full size Ergo Baby. I love that carrier, but it was way too bulky for minimal travel. The next time I searched for something much more compact and lightweight and found this. Now, if you’re a truly serious baby wearer, this isn’t the carrier for you. It’s not especially comfortable for long periods of time. But if you’re like me (I’ve got a bad back) and only wear your your baby for shorter periods of time, like during a tour of someplace cool or on a 1-2 hour hike, etc. then it’s perfect. It takes us much less space in your bag and does the job it needs to do. My baby found it comfortable.
